Star Quilt
The Star quilt is hand block printed onto linen union as one piece, the design referencing traditional ‘star’ patchwork patterns.
The colours are blues, mauve, with details in olive green and a bluey pink. It uses four simple printing blocks which are lone printed or used under or over other blocks.
The back of the quilt is 100% linen, hand stitched with a design which moves away from the star symbol and instead uses the outline of the block circles to create its own separate pattern in white stitching on the emerald green background.
The quilt is lined with cotton and soya wadding.
